Equipping the next generation to know, love, and live God’s word.
Deuteronomy 6:4-7
A Christ-centered two-day microschool for homeschool families in Johnson City, TN, serving K-5 with preschool for younger siblings.
Founded by Matthew & Caitlin Hale
Legacy Academy was founded by Matthew and Caitlin Hale out of a deep conviction that parents are the primary disciplers of their children and that education should never be separated from Christ and His truth. As parents ourselves, we have felt the weight and beauty of the calling to raise children in the nurture and instruction of the Lord, and we believe that education shapes far more than academics alone. It helps form a child’s heart, mind, worldview, and loves.
That conviction is what led us to begin Legacy Academy. Our desire is to come alongside families with a Christ-centered learning community that supports parents in their God-given role while helping children grow in wisdom, knowledge, character, and faith. We are building Legacy Academy with the prayer that it will strengthen families, encourage biblical discipleship, and help keep Christ at the center of education for the next generation.
