Legacy Academy is a Christian homeschool support model designed to come alongside families in their homeschool journey. Parents remain the primary disciplers and are responsible for their child’s legal homeschool compliance and home-day instruction, while Legacy Academy provides two structured on-campus learning days each week.

Legacy Academy will meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 9am to 2pm. There will occasionally be optional meetings on Fridays for field trips and enrichment.

Legacy Academy serves students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Yes. All enrolled students will be required to use My Father’s World curriculum. Families are welcome to add other materials at home if they choose, but all students will be expected to stay on track with the required weekly lessons so that the academy can maintain unity, consistency, and shared pacing.

Yes. Parent involvement is a required part of Legacy Academy. We believe Christ-centered education takes a team, and each enrolled family will be expected to serve in some volunteer capacity in order for their child to be eligible for enrollment.

All families must be legally homeschooling, either through an approved umbrella school or through their own county and state homeschool requirements. Proof of lawful homeschool status will be required annually for continued participation in Legacy Academy.

Tuition covers the core operational needs of Legacy Academy, including curriculum, classroom supplies, insurance, administrative costs, and learning pod leadership.

Parents will not order curriculum. Your child’s curriculum is built into the enrollment fee and tuition.

The main Pod Leader is Caitlin Hale. Caitlin is also a Founder and has many years of experience.

The enrollment fee is $500 plus the first month tuition due by August 1st, 2026 (unless enrolling after our start date).

Yearly Tuition Cost is $2,300. If you pay in full up front, tuition is discounted 10%. Siblings receive a 5% discount. If paying by month, the cost is $230/mo for 10 months (August through May).

“Microschool” is a newer term often used to describe a small, structured learning community. In many cases, it refers to a model that looks more organized than a traditional co-op, often with a more consistent schedule, a unified curriculum, and fewer volunteer requirements placed on parents.

At Legacy Academy, our microschool is designed to support homeschooling families, not replace them. All participating families still legally homeschool and remain responsible for their child’s homeschool status, grades, attendance, and home instruction. Legacy Academy is not a private school. It is a Christ-centered microschool and homeschool support model that provides structured community learning while parents remain the primary educators and disciplers of their children.
