For Donors:

Mega 1 Sports Academy is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We are a charitable subsidiary of of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). Any donations received is 100% tax deductible and goes directly into growing the program. Mega 1 Sports Academy relies on the generous contributions from donors to keep our fees as low as possible. We believe participating in sports, getting help in school, and learning how to be a good person should not be a financial burden on families. For Families:

Mega 1 Sports academy makes every attempt to keep tuition fees low. To help with the cost, we offer two fundraising opportunities.

1) Ask for Donations from small businesses or corporations. Mega 1 Sports Academy is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) and any donation given is 100% tax deductible. We offer desirable sponsorship packages and will advertise for any business that donates. Use the letter template and packages to find donors in your neighborhood! All money raised will go directly to your fees.

2) Participate in the Annual Free Throw-A-Thon/Serve-A-Thon held in February. Ask for donations from family and friends. Donations can be a set amount or by per shot/serve made. Each player will shoot 100 free throws and count the number of shots made. Collect donations from family and friends. All donations will go directly to player fees.
